Luke 24:32 Building a Faith Community for a New Century The results of our month’s long parish wide listening and planning process are outlined in the Vision and Goals Statement: With Hearts Burning Within Us, Building a Faith Community for a New Century. At the heart of the Goals is the intention to build a vibrant faith community for the new century. A superb foundation is already in place, due to the commitment of so many over the years of the parishes existence. The new ministry steps that we will be taking to respond effectively to this challenge will be developed over the next nine months and committed to at our celebration of the Feast of St. Madeleine Sophie on May 24-25, 2002. These Goals will provide the foundation for our community’s ministry over the coming years. They will also guide the renewal and expansion of our parish facilities. In order to effectively develop ministry initiates that will guide us in our pastoral planning for the future, goal task forces have been developed. These task forces and subcommittees will make recommendations to the Pastor and Pastoral Council about ministry initiatives and programs that will guide our parish as we build for the future.
