The St. Madeleine Sophie Marriage Renewal Workshop is committed to supporting the sacrament of Matrimony by providing opportunities for couples to experience God's unconditional love, by renewing and nurturing marriages, by motivating couples to share their gifts in active service to their parish and the greater community.
Since Marriage Renewal is a parish oriented program, it will be held in the social Hall and classrooms at St. Madeleine Sophie.
Talks Discussion Personal Reflection Activities
The weekend is for all married couples regardless of their background. The program accepts couples where "they are now" and builds from there. It is effective at all stages of marriage. Non-Catholics or Catholics who have been minimally involved would feel comfortable and very welcome. The Marriage Renewal is also especially appropriate for engaged couples who are entering into a second marriage.
The program "works" because real people, just like you, lead it!

Because of the generosity and courage of the couples' talks, the care displayed in the meals and the impressive focus on hospitality, we really felt the church considers our marriage vital to the community of faith." Ruth & Mike "The Marriage Renewal Workshop probided us an opportunity to focus on ourselves and our marriage. The short talks were both funny and serious. they made us feel that our issues are common issues that all marriages share." Marcia & Doug "It was a great weekend to 're-focus' on our relationship." Sharon & Mel "The Marriage Renewal Workshop provided the positive support in a Catholic framework for our marriage that we don't find in society."
