Pastoral Assistant Whole Community Catechesis and Welcoming

This program is modeled after and runs parallel to the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). The process begins with the Rite of Welcoming the first week of Advent, and is designed for young people ages 8 to 16 years of age, who have not been baptized, or who are baptized in another faith tradition, or who are baptized as infants in the Roman Catholic Church and remain uncatechized and seek fuller initiation to the Sacraments.
