Whole Community Catechesis Whole Community Catechesis is a new framework within which parish-wide faith-sharing happens. The whole parish is involved in learning and sharing about out faith. Households of the parish become the main focus of parish programs. Home is where faith is lived and shared; Christian homemaking becomes very important. The household is where what we teach in religious education class becomes the stuff of real, everyday living. Catechesis is not just for children! It’s for everyone! Every Catholic is invited to know and love the church, to walk with Christ in his or her daily life, and to gather faithfully together on Sunday at mass. Whole catechesis places great emphasis on developing households of faith.
