Sixth Grade Youth Group

This program has been created to provide our sixth graders the opportunity to explore and learn about the Hebrew and New Testament. Our goal is to help our young people rely more on God’s guidance as they face the many challenges and choices of their pre-adolescent lives. With a variety of materials that are linked to the Sunday readings and the Church year, youth will be able to understand and participate in Sunday Mass more fully. Each session will feature a blend of fun, creative, and inspiring activities such as group discussions, storytelling, role-playing, music, games, and more. All activities are designed to help preteens understand God’s word more deeply and explore the basics of our Catholic faith as they try to make sense of our complex world. During the year, sixth graders will participate in the annual production of the dramatization of the Stations of the Cross. They will all receive their own Catholic Youth Bible. Sixth graders will meet from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room and follow the Wednesday Assemblies calendar.
