Soccer
Kids in all grades K-8 are eligible to register
for CYO Fall Soccer. Players must be members of St.
Madeleine Sophie Parish, but need not attend the school. Registration forms are available the school office, parish
office and at www.stmadsophie.org/cyo.
Return forms to the parish or school office. If you have any questions,
please contact the soccer coordinator.

Coaches Responsibilities
Coaches are required to attend a number of
meetings. First-time coaches are required to attend 2 training sessions,

All coaches, or a representative of the team, are required to attend a
St. Madeleine Sophie Coaches Meeting where items specific to St.
Madeleine are reviewed, equipment is handed out, and practice times are
arranged, and the CYO coaches meeting where the CYO philosophy of
coaching is reviewed, questions answered, and any new rule changes
addressed.
In addition, all coaches must go through a background check through the parish

Parents Responsibilities
Drop off and pick up your child at the required time for practices and games. Inform the coach ahead of time if the child is going to be late or not available for practices or games

Problem Reporting
The coach is first informed who takes it to the coordinator who then informs CYO. All communications to CYO go through the coordinator.
